The concrete frame of the 1927 grain warehouse was kept and almost nothing else. Fifty-eight casino hotel rooms occupy storeys three to six, the restaurant and quay café sit at ground level, and the casino floor takes a single storey in between — twelve tables, five hours a night. The lifts stop at the casino floor only if you press the button.

The casino floor occupies storey two of the warehouse: one long concrete room, twelve casino tables, a bar at the north end and windows the length of the river wall. No machines, no screens above the tables, no music. It is a casino you can hold a conversation in.

No. Casino Hotel Noordkade is an invented Dutch casino hotel, built to demonstrate casino hotel content and responsive web design. It takes no bookings, holds no gambling licence and processes no payments. The warehouse, the rates and the casino floor are all fictional.
Yes, but not privately. Land-based casino gambling in the Netherlands is a state monopoly operated by Holland Casino across its venues, and online casino gambling has been licensed since 1 October 2021. Everything is supervised by the Kansspelautoriteit, the Dutch gambling authority. A privately run casino hotel like this one could not simply open its own casino floor.
Cruks is the Dutch central exclusion register. Every licensed casino and betting operator in the Netherlands must check each visitor against it before letting them play, and anyone can register themselves voluntarily to be locked out of all licensed gambling for a chosen period. It would apply to any real casino floor in a Dutch casino hotel. This page performs no such check — it is a demonstration.
